FAQ

Q: What exactly is Ariel Med’s regenerative product?

A: It is a Stem Cell derived Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid that contains a broad spectrum of key growth factors, cytokines, amnio acids, carbohydrates, hyaluronic acid, extracellular matrix proteins, and cellular components recognized as intrinsic to the wound healing process. Ariel Med’s Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid is reported to be immune-privileged, anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, pro-vascular, and cytoprotective.

Q:  How is the Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid created?

A: Our Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid is derived from the stem-cell rich components of the amniotic membrane.  It is created through the culturing of amniotic mesenchymal stem cells and amniotic epithelial cells that are derivatives of the amnion, the inside layer of the amniotic membrane.

First, the two layers of the amniotic membrane, the amnion and chorion, are mechanically separated.  Mesenchymal and epithelial stem cells are then released from the amniotic membrane in an enzymative process.  The cells are then centrifuged and isolated to be cultured in an expansion media.

The resulting media becomes conditioned by the cells growing and releasing a wide range of regenerative growth factors. The process is closely monitored to make sure the cells are not allowed to differentiate, to meet FDA guidelines.  The resulting liquid is then harvested as amnion-derived fluid, to advance soft tissue repair and reconstruction.

Q: What are the key growth factors found in our Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid?

A: The Ariel Med Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid contains a number of key growth factors including:

-Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF)
-Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)
-Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) A & B
-Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF)
-Transforming Growth Factor beta (TGF-ß)
-Interleukin-10 (IL-10)
-Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1 ra)
-Tissue Inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1,2,3,4 (TIMP-1,2,3,4)

Q: Is your Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid sterile?

A: Yes, both the product and packaging are sterilized by irradiation, so our Regenerative Fluid can be used in a wide range of treatments, including surgery.  Sterilization allows the product to be kept at room temperature, and it has a stable 18 month shelf life.

Q: How can the Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid be used?

A: Our product does not contain particulate, like many regenerative products on the market today, and can therefore be administered in many different ways.

-Intravenous (IV) Treatments
-Respiratory Treatments (Nebulizer)
-Eye Treatments (Eye drops)
-Intramuscular Treatments (Injection)
-Skin Treatments (Microneedle)
-Hair Treatments (Injection into scalp)
-Dental Treatments (Injection and topical)
-Joint Treatments (Injection into the joints)
-Wound Treatments (Injection and Topical)

Q: What is the shelf life of the Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid?

A: The shelf life of our Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid is 18 months at room temperature.  It does not need to be cryo-frozen or refrigerated like many other products.

Q: Are there live stem cells in the Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid?

A: There are no live stem cells or live cells of any kind in our product.  Our Bio-Active Regenerative Fluid also contains neither dehydrated nor micronized membrane.    Many of the Stem Cell products on the market today claim to contain live Stem Cells; a product with live Stem Cells can not be sterilized and therefore, has only been screened.  In addition, most live cells that are injected into the body die immediately.

Current understanding of regenerative medicine treatments is that the major therapeutic benefits come not from stem cells at all, but from the action of the growth factors, which signal, among many things, the patient’s own progenitor cells to begin proliferation and healing, to reduce chronic inflammation and promote regrowth of new tissue.

Q: How does using Ariel Med benefit my practice?

A: Not only are Ariel Med products some of the safest and most effective regenerative treatments available, they also can provide a new cash flow a great many practices are missing.  Our treatment kits allow practices to expand into new options for patients, as well as expanding their patient base.

Ariel Med also provides robust marketing support.  We’ve created extensive printed material for patients to learn about various treatments, and we have a full marketing division to help a practice attract new patients.  Due to our own successful marketing campaigns, we also receive continual inquiries from potential patients looking for doctors who use our products and we forward these leads to our partners.
